1. Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small records stored by your browser. Websites can also use local storage for similar purposes. EU rules apply to both, so “storage” below covers cookies and local storage.
2. Necessary storage
vh_cookie_consent — first-party cookie recording whether analytics was accepted or rejected and the policy version. Purpose: remember and enforce your privacy choice. Duration: 6 months.
NEXT_LOCALE — first-party cookie created when you select a language. Purpose: remember that language. Duration: up to 12 months.
__ph_opt_in_out_* — first-party local-storage preference used by PostHog to enforce your analytics choice. It contains no enquiry details and remains until browser storage is cleared or the preference is replaced.
Necessary storage provides requested choices and functionality. It is not used for advertising and does not require analytics consent.
3. Optional analytics storage
ph_*_posthog — first-party local storage created only after consent. It contains a random visitor identifier, session information, and limited attribution or configuration data. It remains until consent is withdrawn, browser storage is cleared, or the PostHog SDK replaces it.
PostHog receives consented pageviews and selected interactions. Autocapture, advertising tracking, and session replay are disabled. The privacy notice explains data categories, legal basis, recipients, transfers, and retention.
4. Your choice
Analytics is off by default. “Accept analytics” enables it; “Reject analytics” leaves it off. Both choices allow full use of the website.
Open “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change your choice. Withdrawal stops future analytics capture and persistence without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
5. Browser controls, changes, and contact
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser. Deleting the consent cookie means we will ask again. Blocking necessary storage may prevent the site from remembering language or privacy preferences.
